Deployment and launch readiness

Prepare, verify and launch an isolated installation.

Prepare the installation boundary

Give each client an independent deployment, database, secrets and storage. Migrations establish core schema; industry installation adds starter attributes.

Configure merchant products, stock, branding, delivery and tax separately.

Deploy a matched release

  1. Review the target environment, release and migrations.
  2. Confirm backups and tested restoration.
  3. Deploy compatible services and dependencies.
  4. Apply forward migrations; preserve migration history.
  5. Verify database, media, search, analytics and workers.
  6. Configure approved public identity and environment protections.
  7. Run acceptance checks before live cutover.

Use a launch acceptance checklist

  • Admin sign-in and intended role access.
  • Correct catalog, media, stock and market facts.
  • Expected delivery/pickup, schedules and capacity.
  • Verified order with correct totals.
  • Published theme, navigation, content and languages.
  • Correct public host, metadata, indexing and feeds.
  • Enabled assistant actions with verified outcomes.
  • Current reports/jobs and available recovery procedures.

Monitor and recover deliberately

Monitor readiness, dependency health and asynchronous job freshness. Liveness alone is insufficient.

Roll back compatible releases while retaining commerce records, receipts and supported additive schema. Validate backups and restoration per environment before assigning recovery commitments.
