What the assistant can help with
The assistant uses supported language interpretation, current commerce facts and approved knowledge. Enabled capabilities determine each response.
| Journey | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Discovery | Search, constrained recommendations, comparisons and facts. |
| Cart/wishlist | Scoped reads and enabled add/remove/quantity/transfer actions. |
| Orders/support | Owned information and validated support forms. |
| Checkout | Review and checkout handoff. |
| Delivery | Address information and selection guidance. |
Configure and validate assistance
- Open Configuration → Shopping Assistance.
- Review enablement, provider and model; save credentials through the supported form.
- Run provider/readiness checks.
- Test representative reads and enabled actions.
- Verify resulting records; investigate with request IDs.
Understand action boundaries
- Actions require identity, permissions, explicit product selection and current facts.
- Unknown product facts remain unknown.
- Chat wording alone never places an order.
- Compound cart/wishlist execution requires separate gates, persistence and receipts.
- Merchant queries retain operator permissions.
Investigate an assistant issue
Check request ID, intended product, readiness and customer context. Confirm the operational result; a completed stream is insufficient.
